Australian Rail Track Corporation requested a time lapse video of a rail bridge upgrade at Narwonah near Narromine, NSW.
The guys worked non-stop over 4 days so I had to come up with a camera that would handle the conditions in this remote rural area for 24 hours a day.
A trusty GoPro in a housing up a pole worked a treat. Connected to solar power, not only was this shoot eco-friendly, but I was able to capture over 90 hours of continuous footage which I condensed down to 2 minutes.
ARTC were very happy with the end product and they even won an award for it!
I was hired by a London based production company to shoot and field produce a 5 minute video at University of Sydney. I have now shot 6 of these of these videos. They are always challenging, and busy, but at the end of the day it is so rewarding to produce videos to educate and inform people about the challenges of diabetes, and how that challenge is being met with innovative and life-changing research and technology.
